Cleantech Camp is searching for new projects and startups to accelerate the energy transition across Europe

EIT InnoEnergy, Naturgy, Enagás, CRH, Prio, Barcelona Activa y la Cámara Municipal de Lisboa promote the 5th edition of Cleantech Camp, an acceleration program with an international focus oriented towards startups or business ideas in their initial phases that focus on clean energies.

The application period for 2020 will go through the end of February with candidates and entrepreneurs all over Europe, of which up to 15 will be selected to participate in Cleantech Camp 2020.

The selected proposals Will participate in an acceleration program that takes place across Barcelona, Madrid and Lisbon from March through June. The program combines training, specialized workshops directed by distinct experts, and networking events.

Cleantech camp counts on the collaboration from the principal partners, along with Osborne Clarke, ZBM Patents, and Ateknea Solutions who will provide training sessions for the selected entrepreneurs.

Financing for the acceleration and promotion of Pilots

One of the principal objectives behind Cleantech camp is to promote open innovation between the collaborating companies, and the participating startups, to generate an ecosystem of ideas that will benefit companies both large and small. The winning project selected at the final event will receive 20.000 euros with second and third receiving 5.000 euros. In last years edition, Cleantech Camp gave special relevance to the design of pilot projects.

The entrepreneurs must develop a pre-project for a possible pilot, following the challenges laid out by the companies that lead the program. Once the initial phase is presented the partners of the program will fund up to four selected pilots, with contributions that could reach 120,000 euros.
