DiHola, a company founded by Edgar Vicente, Iván Fernández and Juan Sebastián Brito in 2017 with the main goal to digitize business cards, sells its technology 3 years later to the international software company Social Labs.

Social Collaboration Labs is a autentique Superior Software Development Boutique, aimed at generating disruptive innovations to the business of large companies, with clients such as Coca-Cola, Bimbo, FerroMex or the important Camino Real hotel chain. It has offices in Barcelona, ​​Mexico City and Phoenix. The acquisition of 100% of DiHola App supposes an injection of innovation to its portfolio of solutions and products.

With only 21 and 22 years, Iván, Edgar and Juan have managed to sell their first project as entrepreneurs and do not plan to stop. As its founders report “after the sale of DiHola App, we will start new projects maintaining initial partners and investors. We are at a point of maximum motivation, we consider that we have the experience of having learned from our successes and failures so we do not want to miss the opportunity to keep going ”

NEW PROJECTS

“At the moment we can say that it is a new concept of proximity marketing for the retail sector where we want to create the link between the online and offline channel, considerably improving the customer experience in the store through sound”, has said the founders. At the same time, they believe that the future of physical stores has a great room for improvement and in the coming years we want to position ourselves as the main innovators in the sector.

The entrepreneurs have the support of Successful Ventures, an investment vehicle formed by Dani Romy, Fran Piera and Ot Vila, at the same time, they have committed different important business angels in the sector. “During the three years at DiHola, we have been accompanied by investors of all kinds, we are very grateful particularly to those closest investors such as university colleagues, family and friends who have supported us when we needed it most and that will continue to support us in upcoming projects. We also want to highlight the participation of Conector Startup Accelerator.

In parallel, entrepreneurs Edgar and Iván have created a new investment vehicle called Enzo Tech Ventures, mainly focused on early-stage companies. “We detected a great need to find an experienced travel mate by students who decide to launch their first startup, so we decided to create a network of European entrepreneurs under 30 years specialized in different sectors and offer a new concept of partner Founder with the aim of promoting the project from a very direct treatment, a very marked mentoring program but at the same time close and with the possibility of investing in first rounds of investment.

“We have already closed our first two investees and together with Markus Törstedt and Omar Alavedra we are building a promising community of mentors and partners from all corners of Europe with which we hope to provide the maximum possible value to the ecosystem.”
