Oliver von Schiller, Ignacio Wucherpfennig and Miguel Ángel Martínez, founders and managing partners of AD&LAW, created the firm at the end of 2009, during the financial crisis. At that time, they detected a need for high quality advice in small and medium sized companies. However, in the beginning they were basically advising new companies and venture capital funds.
The name AD&LAW comes from ADVISOR&LAW. Sometimes, it is wrongly related to ADVERTISING&LAW. However, the firm states that they are not a legal firm, but a full-service company that, to date, has already received several awards for innovation and young entrepreneurs: Dintel Foundation Award for the best initiative for entrepreneurship and technological development of startups; finalist for the AJE Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
A SERVICE COMPANY THAT COVERS ALL OF ITS CLIENTS’ NEEDS
The comprehensive advisory firm specializes in startups and investment funds and stands out for its quality services at reasonable prices together with a comprehensive and dynamic profile that adapts to real client needs. They accompany startups in all their stages of growth, from their creation and first partnership agreement to their A series and their internationalization.
Making use of all the technologies available in the market, they cover all the requirements of their clients from a financial, fiscal, accounting, payroll and legal perspective. Thanks to this system, their clients can focus directly on their core business and have a real control and analysis of their companies, with useful information in time for decision making.
They currently have clients of 35 nationalities, despite the fact that their real operations are currently focused in Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy.
As far as investment goes, they collaborate with various venture capitals and business angels at both national and European level, these being some of their clients, who already have their own funds or companies. The funds mainly facilitate the control of their investees, present them with projects and act as their backoffice, for example, for procedures before the CNMV.
AD&LAW’s aim is to expand nationally and internationally, either by merging with another company, which would speed up the process, or step by step independently.
