The Water Tower, the new water innovation center in the United States, located in Georgia, announces a partnership with GoHub, Global Omnium’s corporate venturing, with the aim of investing in the best water technology companies.

With technology playing an increasingly critical role in the water industry, the acceleration of the development of novel technologies is necessary to help water and wastewater utilities become more resilient.

The first-of-its-kind international partnership kicked off on January 1st, 2021. The joint technology entrepreneurship program will focus on water and wastewater treatment, monitoring, metering, predictive analytics, water efficiency, digital water, and other areas of interest. GoHub, through its corporate venturing of 20 million euros, has already invested in more than twenty deep tech companies focused on digital water, industry 4.0 and smartcities.

GoHub has over twenty successful start-ups in its global portfolio with innovative offerings in robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and more. GoHub provides quick access to cutting-edge technologies, breaking down traditional water industry barriers and establishing GoAigua as a unique smart water solution.
“With this collaboration, we seek to be a leading player in investing in digital water startups, as well as offering companies in our portfolio the opportunity to find new opportunities in the American market”, said Pablo Calabuig, CEO of GoAigua Inc.

“With this exciting collaboration, we will be able to offer international expertise on our campus and develop important new advances in utility-focused technologies, allowing us to stay on the forefront of water innovation,” said Melissa Meeker, CEO of The Water Tower. “GoHub’s proven track record in innovation and startup search and support, combined with TWT resources, will provide huge benefits for our partners and the greater water industry.”
