Tiller Systems, the tech company that provides a point-of-sale solution, announces the acquisition of the artificial intelligence software for merchants Beesniss. For Tiller, the purchase comes one year after a 12 million euros fundraising, plus 8 million destined to external growth like mergers and acquisitions. With the addition of Beesniss, the company seeks to conquer the European market by offering an all-in-one POS solution for restaurants and shops.
Tiller was founded in early 2014 and since then has gathered 7000 clients in 35 countries. The startup offers a system that not only serves as a point of sale, but also allows to manage and analyze the business. Its features include order-taking, sales monitoring in real time and access to a marketplace of integrated digital solutions.
Beesniss has been part of this digital market since the beginning of 2018. With the purchase, the goal is to consolidate that relationship: the Spanish startup specializes in the intelligent management of orders to suppliers, complementing Tiller’s features. With an offer that includes stock control, invoice scanning and employee management, Beesniss has worked with more than 300 clients to date, counting franchisees of the Restalia group.
A COMPLETE SOLUTION
With the acquisition of Beesniss, Tiller plans to promote its technological development and consolidate the digital solutions market. Since its inception, the company’s goal has been to offer a complete tool to prevent restaurant owners and merchants from working with multiple devices and to manage all aspects of the business from the POS. For this they have chosen to join the leading solutions of the sector through integrations or, in this case, acquisition.
“Our goal is not only to position ourselves as a point-of-sale software, but rather as the gateway to the digitalization of any business,” states Louis Vallbona, VP of Business Development at Tiller. According to Vallbona, the purchase was born because the companies have the same vision: “we both share a desire to change the status quo of the sector through digitization. We want to offer integrated services that facilitate the day-to-day of the restaurateur and improve their operational efficiency “. Currently, Tiller and Beesniss are working on new joint solutions to complement the POS features.
