Talentoo, the employment platform without direct participation from candidates

Talentoo is an employment web platform created in 2017 by the entrepreneur Javier Puebla. The startup has a B2B model that is completely different from the existing ones, since they cover a new market niche called recruitment crowdsourcing, in which only contracting and recruitment companies participate, which they put in contact, centralizing and managing the entire recruitment process with Talentoo as the only interlocutor. This system does not have direct candidates.

The name Talentoo is a combination of “talent” and the word “too”. The result is the union of talent and all that they offer additionally: highly qualified profiles proposed by many specialized selectors in each position.

So far Talentoo operates only in Spain and all its start-up and development has been self-financed, without the need to turn to investors. The platform has more than 200 companies registered on its website. They benefit from an intuitive and simple operating system that facilitates management and communication between contractors and selectors.

A MODEL OF SUCCESS IN THE UNITED STATES AND GERMANY

Talentoo is the result of several conversations between professionals in the sector, where they realized the need for many companies when locating personnel. The platform attempts to counteract the problem that arises in many cases where employment websites and headhunters are paid in advance, but with no guarantee of success. This leads to a waste of valuable time for companies and endless selection processes with too many candidates among whom, often, the right one is not found. It is then that the founders of Talentoo detect the vacuum in the market and launch a model that already works successfully in countries such as the United States and Germany, but that was still unknown in Spain.

Talentoo demands the highest quality in the processes, which allows a maximum of five resumes per recruiter and open vacancy, so that the profile matches the recruiter search. In addition, for the recruiter the process is 100% free, and they can only generate income from their work each time they hire a candidate.

Regarding recruiters, the registration, reception of CVs and interview of candidates is free. You only pay if you decide to hire the candidate. They also choose the amount when posting the offer. The platform recommends a percentage based on the gross annual salary offered, and the company can increase or decrease this percentage as it pleases, up to a minimum of 50% of the recommended amount.

Talentoo has been in the Spanish market for two years and, despite continuing to grow here, they have their sights set on internationalization in Europe and Latin America to become the international social recruitment network.
