Accelerators

El Referente has compiled in the following report all the initiatives looking for innovative companies in order to incorporate them into their programs. Some of them end on October, while others will remain open until November and December.

Impulsa Vision Startups, the accelerator program for startups by RTVE, has opened its 5th Edition for the presentation of projects that must be submitted by the end of December 22^nd, 2019. It is a program for freelance professionals and startups whom want to take part in the startups ecosistem.

The chief executive for Climate-KIC Kirsten Dunlop has open in Valencia a new space called #SuperLabPorts, an area for innovation and entrepreneurship in the maritime and port sector on climate change.

Mentor Day is an acceleration program held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It lasts one week, is inspired by “Google sprint” and is totally free, private and non-profit. The acceleration is completed in only five days and in key sectors, working in each process of acceleration a sector.

Tecnalia Ventures is a venture builder belonging to the research and technological development center Tecnalia, the top center in Spain and one of the most relevant in Europe. The incubator accompanies and accelerates the business opportunities of entrepreneurs from the idea to its validation in the market.

Acciona will launch in Chile its open innovation platform, Acciona’s I’mnovation, in September to broaden the scope of its corporate accelerator to Latin America. This program in Chile is the first to be launched outside Europe, and is intended to integrate the company’s innovation approaches developed by its Latin American teams with breakthrough technologies developed by startups and technology partners.

Spanish Radio and Television or RTVE, the state-owned media group which is also the largest Spanish language broadcaster in the world has launched an accelerator. Impulsa Visión is an initiative with a vertical design aimed at investing in innovative and disruptive proposals in the fields of technology, content and, business management, applied to the media sector.

The Airbus Bizlab is a global aerospace accelerator bringing together start-ups and Airbus’ own entrepreneurs to transform innovative ideas into valuable businesses more quickly. The call is already open and the registration period starts on May 7, 2019 and ends on July 7.

Metxa is an accelerator of projects for entrepreneurs. Its objective is to invest in the projects selected to participate in their online acceleration program – Metxa BootCamp.

Tetuan Valley is an accelerator that helps entrepreneurs turn their idea into a real business that can be tested by forming a community of entrepreneurs who help each other.
